Morley based company Finedoor have recently completed a contract to supply five screens to Ghantoot Transport and General Construction Company who are based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The quarry is a brand new site situated near to Fujairah and processes drilled and blasted Limestone. It is extracted at the rate of 3 million tonnes per year; crushed and screened into aggregates and transported to local markets in the UAE which are experiencing an all time high demand for aggregate.

The plant was designed and built to process limestone and produce materials to the high quality required in the U.A.E and has a production capacity of 650 tph and produces 5 high quality graded products 40-80, 20-10, 10-5, 5-2, 0-2 mm from a combination of two 8 x 2 three deck, twin drive and three 7 x 2 three deck, single drive screens.

The screen support structures and chutes were manufactured locally to designs supplied by Finedoor; all the equipment was assembled and commissioned by on-site personnel on schedule.

This has been another major success for the Leeds based manufacturer; the reliability of the screens has been well proven over many years within other projects in the UAE and this Fujairah contract has again underlined their international credentials where quality and reliability were upheld.
