Finedoor have recently completed a contract to replace an asphalt screen for Tarmac at their Santon site near Scunthorpe.

The existing screen has been replaced by a purpose made 7m x 2.1m, 3 ½ deck asphalt screen complete with oil bath lubrication. Finedoor supplied a new pulley and v-belts for the drive from an existing 37kw motor.

The unit which was fitted into the existing steel enclosure by Finedoor engineers, was designed and built within Finedoor's workshop, where the actual operation of the unit was fully tested and ‘dry run.'
